RELICTS: ROMAN AND OTHERS - A joint exhibition by Ekaterina & Alex Mortensen
A change to the Meet the Artists date. It is now on SATURDAY 27TH AUGUST 5 - 8 pm (and probably go till late)
The exhibition is at the TAP Gallery on the corner of Palmer and Burton Streets, Darlinghurst - open from the 15th to 28th August and “Meet the Artists” is on Saturday 27th August at 5-8pm.
Ekaterina is exhibiting 38 paintings that have resulted from a holiday in Rome a few years ago. Most of these are in a semi-abstract style getting away from the more conventional and traditional ways that ancient Rome’s buildings tend to be viewed and painted. A few larger ones are abstracts she developed from the smaller semi-abstracts. Included are a series of 28 framed paintings called “Roman Relicts”.
